Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and pharmaceuticals
- Design error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting circuits
- Lead cross-functional teams in simulating quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with 2026 impact metrics
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum navigation systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE QCE)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience securing $1M+ in quantum research grants
