Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence in cryogenic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor architecture
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics principles
- Secure patents for novel quantum-resistant methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in quantum cryptography or ML
- Familiarity with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong Python/C++ programming for simulation environments
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
