Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols on superconducting qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world industrial applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Collaborate with government agencies on NIST quantum security standards development
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences like Q2B and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional candidates with MS + 5yrs experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation techniques
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and statistical mechanics
