Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate municipal records, databases, and digital archives with zero-tolerance for errors
- Process and track permits, licenses, and official documentation with meticulous attention to compliance
- Serve as primary point of contact for citizen inquiries via phone, email, and secure digital portals
- Coordinate public meetings, hearings, and community engagement events using hybrid scheduling tools
- Prepare and distribute official communications, reports, and council meeting materials
- Collaborate with department heads on administrative process improvements and digital transformation
- Ensure adherence to municipal codes, open records laws, and data privacy regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and CRM platforms
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
