Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and regulatory impacts on public services
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces on digital transformation
- Conduct quantitative research using state data platforms
- Present findings to legislative committees and public stakeholders
- Develop implementation strategies for new state programs
- Monitor budget allocations across public service departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of state/federal regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (MS Teams, Zoom)
- Valid U.S. driver's license (for occasional travel)
- Texas residency required
