Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol grounds during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Enforce federal access control protocols and visitor screening procedures
- Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, and alarm activations
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain security logs
- Coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies during critical events
- Conduct regular inspections of perimeter security systems
- Train junior security staff on federal compliance standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal positions)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Pass physical fitness assessment for federal security roles
