Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Conduct access control screenings and credential verification for personnel
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with federal law enforcement
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Operate advanced security equipment including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Collaborate with federal agencies during emergency response scenarios
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid DC Security Officer license (SPO)
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Emergency response certification preferred
