In this role, you will work on high-budget commercial campaigns and feature film pre-production. You will collaborate directly with Art Directors and Storyboard Artists to ensure every movement serves the narrative. Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-quality 2D character animations and keyframe sequences using industry-standard software (Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, or After Effects).
- Collaborate with the story team to interpret scripts and storyboards into dynamic visual motion.
- Refine character rigging and movement to ensure fluidity and naturalistic expressions.
- Participate in regular animation reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior animators.
- Optimize animation assets for various production pipelines and deliverables.
- Maintain a high level of artistic consistency across all project deliverables.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, preferably in the gaming or film industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in character animation, lip-syncing, and background animation.
- Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, or similar animation software.
- Deep understanding of the 12 principles of animation and timing/space.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a tight deadline-driven production schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
