Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Vision: Define and drive the long-term technical roadmap for AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with the company's futuristic goals.
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design scalable, high-performance AI architectures capable of handling complex, real-time data streams and autonomous decision-making.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business objectives into technical specifications and research initiatives.
- Research & Development: Oversee the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AGI, Quantum AI) to maintain a competitive edge.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of talented engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes of future technologies to validate concepts and demonstrate feasibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI research, or systems architecture.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think several years into the future and plan for technological shifts.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, open-ended problems in AI and system design.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Francisco headquarters.
