Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Vision: Define and articulate the long-term technical roadmap for AI infrastructure, specifically targeting 2026 capabilities and beyond.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems for large language models (LLMs) and autonomous decision-making agents.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the deployment and fine-tuning of proprietary models to ensure low latency and high accuracy in production environments.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- R&D Strategy: Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge advancements into our core stack.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all AI systems adhere to strict ethical guidelines, data privacy laws, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior AI or Machine Learning architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed systems.
- Cloud Proficiency: Proven track record of designing systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- AI Specialization: Strong understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing engineering teams and drive technical strategy.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with elegant, scalable solutions.
