Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Lead the research strategy to define the AI capabilities and features we will deploy by 2026.
- Innovation Leadership: Conduct cutting-edge research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision to push the boundaries of current AI models.
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art deep learning architectures optimized for scalability and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, product, and design teams to translate complex research findings into production-ready software solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all research adheres to the highest standards of bias mitigation, privacy, and ethical AI governance.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in applied research within the tech industry, specifically focusing on Deep Learning or NLP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with Hugging Face Transformers or similar libraries.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to forecast industry trends and align research goals with long-term business objectives.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: A track record of solving complex, open-ended problems in dynamic environments.
