Responsibilities
- Maintain and secure all court records, documents, and case files with absolute accuracy
- Process legal filings, warrants, and subpoens while adhering to strict judicial protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to attorneys, litigants, and judicial staff
- Manage courtroom scheduling and coordinate with judges, bailiffs, and court reporters
- Prepare official court orders, transcripts, and administrative reports
- Utilize case management software (e.g., Odyssey) for efficient data entry and retrieval
- Train and mentor junior clerks on procedural compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of courthouse or legal administrative experience
- Proven expertise in Florida Rules of Judicial Administration and court procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- Valid Florida Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for record-keeping errors
- Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality
- Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, or related field required
