Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential court records with 100% accuracy and compliance with legal standards
- Process case filings, judgments, and administrative documents using specialized judicial software
- Provide exceptional customer service to attorneys, litigants, and judicial staff
- Coordinate courtroom scheduling and manage judicial calendars efficiently
- Prepare official court orders and correspondence under attorney supervision
- Train and mentor junior clerks on court procedures and record-keeping protocols
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of all processed documents
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of court or legal administrative experience required
- Proficiency in judicial software (e.g., Odyssey, Tyler Technologies)
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expert knowledge of Kentucky court rules and procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Strong communication skills for interacting with legal professionals
