Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents and threats.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Statewide Information Security Program (SISP) compliance.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with federal agencies and other state entities on cross-jurisdictional security initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- United States Citizenship and a valid Driver’s License (required for government roles).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification (e.g., Security+).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or state-level cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and CISA frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security tools.
