Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex data models to support tax policy analysis and long-term forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate raw datasets into actionable business intelligence.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data across all reporting systems and databases.
- Present technical findings to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and revenue trends.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analyses to identify trends and anomalies in tax compliance data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and statistical analysis using Python or R.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Familiarity with New York State tax codes and government reporting standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
