Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support state-wide health initiatives and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous quality assurance processes and validation scripts.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations for executive leadership and legislative bodies.
- Lead training sessions and workshops for staff regarding data usage, analysis tools, and best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis within a government or large-scale corporate environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data manipulation.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
