Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL processes to support agency reporting.
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure high data integrity for stakeholders.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to present key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends and inform strategic decision-making.
- Document data governance policies and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R for advanced data manipulation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
