Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models and dashboards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, perform statistical analysis, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL processes to support public health initiatives.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions and data queries.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security compliance across all reporting systems.
- Document data lineage, processes, and methodologies for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
- Present complex analytical findings to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, compelling format.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with government data standards and compliance requirements (HIPAA, FERPA) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business insights.
