Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data models to support city-wide initiatives and revenue forecasting.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain interactive, high-level dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau for executive stakeholders.
- Ensure strict data governance, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide mentorship to junior analysts and conduct technical code reviews.
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in clear, concise presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the public sector or government.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania state data privacy laws and regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
