Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Design, develop, and execute complex data analysis models to support key city initiatives and operational improvements.
- Data Engineering: Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines using SQL and Python to ensure data accuracy and accessibility across the organization.
- Visual Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and establish best practices for data security and integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical role within the government or public sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, concise, and actionable reports for diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems using data.
