Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects for HMRC public-facing services
- Develop and execute digital roadmaps aligned with government Digital Strategy
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize citizen digital experiences
- Ensure compliance with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and accessibility regulations
- Manage stakeholder relationships across government departments and external vendors
- Implement agile methodologies and track KPIs for project success
- Drive innovation in digital service delivery using emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital transformation within public sector or regulated industry
- Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management frameworks
- Strong understanding of UK government digital standards (GDS Service Manual)
- Technical background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and integration technologies
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and security protocols
- Strategic planning skills with ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Digital Transformation, or equivalent experience
