Responsibilities
- Process vehicle registrations, title transfers, and driver license applications with precision and efficiency
- Provide accurate information on DMV regulations, fees, and required documentation
- Resolve customer inquiries through in-person, phone, and digital channels
- Utilize DMV systems to maintain accurate transaction records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to streamline service delivery and reduce wait times
- Identify and escalate complex cases requiring supervisor intervention
- Assist in training new representatives on DMV procedures and policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry applications
- Strong knowledge of Alaska DMV regulations and procedures (or equivalent state)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging customer interactions
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
