Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental compliance inspections and audits for industrial facilities
- Develop and implement regulatory enforcement strategies for air and water quality standards
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and violation notices with legal precision
- Coordinate with local agencies and community stakeholders on environmental initiatives
- Train junior staff on regulatory protocols and environmental best practices
- Advise businesses on sustainable compliance solutions and permit applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance experience in regulated industry or government
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to field sites
- Strong knowledge of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and federal regulations
- Certified Environmental Compliance Manager (CECM) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in regulatory reporting software and GIS mapping
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
