Responsibilities
- Lead environmental compliance inspections and enforcement actions for industrial facilities
- Develop and implement pollution prevention programs targeting air/water quality improvements
- Analyze environmental data using GIS systems to identify pollution hotspots
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory recommendations for policy development
- Coordinate with local government agencies on environmental initiatives
- Train junior staff on environmental regulations and best practices
- Manage grant programs supporting community environmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in environmental compliance or regulatory enforcement
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Strong proficiency in GIS mapping software (ArcGIS/QGIS)
- DEP Air/Water Quality certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated experience with environmental data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and conduct field inspections
