Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across 3+ regional facilities
- Develop corrective action plans for non-compliance findings
- Collaborate with legal and operations teams on policy implementation
- Prepare regulatory reports for OMB and Congressional oversight
- Train staff on compliance protocols and emerging regulations
- Manage vendor contracts ensuring federal procurement standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field
- 5+ years federal compliance experience in healthcare sector
- VA or federal agency background strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of 42 CFR, HIPAA, and VA directives
- Strong analytical skills with audit experience
- Ability to manage complex multi-site projects
- Top Secret security clearance required
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CPHRM) preferred
