Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from pre-award proposal development to post-award contract administration and closeout.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract performance, identifying potential risks and negotiating necessary modifications or changes orders.
- Prepare and review complex contract documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), Price Proposals, and technical reports.
- Coordinate closely with program managers, legal teams, and external vendors to resolve contract disputes and issues.
- Maintain accurate records of contract modifications, invoices, and deliverables in the company’s contract management system.
- Conduct internal training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contract administration, government contracting, or a related compliance role.
- Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is highly desirable.
- Must possess a current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and technical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
