Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scanning of federal systems in accordance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Manage the end-to-end security lifecycle, including incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Prepare and present detailed security posture reports to senior leadership and government stakeholders.
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to anomalies in real-time.
- Maintain strict adherence to federal compliance regulations and internal security policies.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred) and CISSP or Security+ certification.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal cybersecurity or related IT roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and advanced network security concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief high-level executives.
- Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government clearance.
