Responsibilities
- Oversee the security posture of federal information systems, including risk management and compliance monitoring.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Manage incident response activities, coordinating with law enforcement and external agencies as necessary.
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on federal cybersecurity regulations and best practices.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance the security awareness of the workforce.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a federal or government contracting environment.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and federal IT regulations (FISMA, FedRAMP).
