Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using advanced statistical methods to identify security threats and policy trends
- Design and maintain secure data pipelines compliant with federal security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Lead cross-functional projects with intelligence agencies to support counter-terrorism operations
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation processes and quality control measures
- Present findings to congressional committees and federal stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts on federal compliance standards and ethical data practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with federal data systems and security clearance eligibility
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for large-scale data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of federal data governance frameworks (DMDC, DCII)
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI with portfolio of federal dashboards
- Demonstrated experience with geospatial analysis and visualization tools (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
- Experience presenting to executive-level government officials
