Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Develop predictive models for border security threat assessment
- Prepare executive-level reports for congressional stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with CBP and ICE leadership on strategic data initiatives
- Maintain data integrity across secure federal databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in federal or government data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of DHS data systems (e.g., TEA, SEVIS)
- Experience with geospatial analysis and border security data
- Certification in AWS/GCP data analytics platforms
