Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), NIST, and agency-specific security policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response to mitigate cyber threats.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal federal staff and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, incident reports, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver IT solutions that align with federal program goals.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship and an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or as a government contractor.
- Proficiency in network protocols, Windows/Linux administration, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
