Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the lifecycle of federal IT projects, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and regulatory standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and the Clinger-Cohen Act.
- Lead Agile development sprints and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy systems while integrating modern cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) into federal environments.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and serve as the primary point of contact for federal client stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments, with a strong preference for experience in the NYC metro area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one is required.
- Proficiency in enterprise technologies, including SharePoint, SQL Server, and Java/Python.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes and ITIL framework.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
