Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal IT systems, ensuring high availability and security.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies in compliance with FISMA standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff on federal protocols.
- Manage security clearances and ensure all personnel remain compliant with agency access requirements.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions on time.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex network issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain one) with polygraph eligibility preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT, cybersecurity, or systems engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GovCloud).
- Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance standards.
