Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal government projects, ensuring strict alignment with agency goals and mission objectives.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of complex federal contracts.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) and internal quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate complex technical information and project status to senior stakeholders, government officials, and clients effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior project managers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure project continuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal contracts or large-scale government projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects under strict government deadlines and regulatory environments.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of government acquisition processes, compliance requirements, and auditing standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (e.g., Secret/Top Secret).
