Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable IT infrastructure solutions tailored to federal agency requirements.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to federal security standards, including FISMA, DIACAP, and NIST frameworks.
- Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security analysts, and program managers, to drive technical excellence.
- Incident Response: Monitor system performance and respond to security incidents or technical anomalies swiftly and effectively.
- Technical Mentoring: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure team best practices are maintained.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal systems engineering, IT consulting, or software development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), virtualization technologies, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or equivalent industry certifications are highly desirable.
