Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technological convergence by 2026 across AI, biotech, and climate solutions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives and government partners
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging innovations in partnership with Stanford/MIT ethics consortiums
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and UN Technology Summits
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of futurists and data scientists
- Secure $2M+ in R&D grants from NSF and DARPA for forward-looking initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on technological forecasting
- Proven track record of implementing future-ready strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience securing government/private funding for R&D initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year technology roadmaps
