In our dynamic San Francisco hub, you'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop predictive models, scenario-planning frameworks, and immersive future-state simulations. You'll directly influence product development, policy decisions, and market positioning for next-generation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Produce scenario-based roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Design immersive future-state simulations for stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate future-viability of innovations
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers and industry speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial applications
- Advanced proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published author or recognized speaker in futurism/innovation spaces
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
