Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 2026+ impact potential
- Develop quantitative models to forecast market disruptions in AI and biotech sectors
- Facilitate executive workshops on future strategic scenarios and risk mitigation
- Produce annual FutureTech Trend reports with actionable recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough innovation initiatives
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or technology analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published research on emerging technology trends preferred
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong stakeholder management with executive experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) a plus
