Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and implementation priorities
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D pipelines and go-to-market strategies
- Author thought leadership content and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors for intelligence gathering
- Drive organizational culture of innovation by embedding future-readiness into operational DNA
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and exponential technology assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative discipline
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains: AGI, nanotechnology, neurotech, and climate innovation
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic transformation and disruption preparedness
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification bodies)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work, innovation frameworks, or future-state prototypes
