Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, AI ethics, and synthetic biology to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks guiding R&D priorities for Project 2026's $1.2B innovation portfolio
- Produce high-impact scenario planning reports for C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with MIT, Stanford, and NASA partners
- Translate complex technological trajectories into actionable product roadmaps
- Represent Nexus at Davos, World Economic Forum, and global innovation summits
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist researchers in advanced foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in converging technologies: quantum AI, neural lace, and climate engineering
- Proven track record influencing Fortune 500 technology roadmaps
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, causal layered analysis, and systems modeling
- Security clearance (TS/SCI) or equivalent government partnership experience
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Hindi for global stakeholder engagement
