Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Analyze disruptive trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to identify market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align strategic priorities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with predictive analytics and strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Represent the company at global foresight forums (World Economic Forum, Singularity Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech impact (white papers, patents, or TED talks)
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, AI-driven forecasting)
- Proven track record of implementing future strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Fluency in futures methodologies and ethical foresight frameworks
