Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI) and assess business implications
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Champion innovation labs and pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Build and lead a global futurist network across industry verticals
- Author thought leadership on technological singularity and human augmentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or technology innovation roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
