Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of state policies to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with legislative staff and executive officials to develop clear, actionable policy recommendations.
- Oversee the budgeting process for specific government programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
- Manage stakeholder communication, including preparing briefing materials and presenting findings to high-level committees.
- Monitor federal and state regulatory changes to ensure agency compliance and adapt operational procedures accordingly.
- Lead cross-departmental task forces to streamline administrative workflows and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in government analysis, policy research, or public sector administration.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Excel) and government reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced government environment.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within Pennsylvania as required.
