Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data and trends to develop evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Prepare high-level reports and briefings for executive leadership and legislative committees.
- Collaborate with inter-agency task forces to streamline government operations and improve service delivery.
- Monitor legislative changes at the state and federal levels to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
- Conduct stakeholder outreach to gather input from community organizations, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups.
- Manage project timelines and budgets for assigned government initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government, public policy, or a related sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret statistical data and create compelling narratives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting official government documents.
- Knowledge of California state government processes and the CalPERS pension system is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific database systems.
