Responsibilities
- System Design & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems and software solutions for federal and state government clients.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to support policy decisions, generate reports, and drive operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems and processes adhere to strict federal regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior analysts and developers within the team.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or database administration within the public sector or government contracting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is highly preferred.
