Responsibilities
- Research and identify new grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop and write high-impact grant proposals, budgets, and reports
- Cultivate relationships with funding partners and stakeholders
- Manage grant application processes from submission to final reporting
- Analyze funding trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities and outcomes
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, English, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven success securing $500K+ annually in grant funding
- Expertise in federal, state, and private grant applications
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and budget development abilities
- Experience with CRM and grant management software
- Deep knowledge of Fort Wayne's nonprofit landscape
