Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex information systems and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws.
- Oversee system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical services.
- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT projects to drive strategic decision-making and budget optimization.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts and IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Document system architecture, workflows, and technical manuals for stakeholder reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or software development.
- Proven experience working within the government or public sector environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
