Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex information systems solutions tailored to government needs.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend technical improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Lead the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Ensure all IT systems comply with local, state, and federal security regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and support staff.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern database management systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Deep understanding of IT security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
