Responsibilities
- Lead System Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business requirements to design and implement robust IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles from initiation through deployment, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget using Agile methodologies.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and developers, conducting code reviews and best-practice assessments.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all IT systems adhere to strict state security protocols, data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), and federal regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, translating technical jargon into actionable business insights.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, systems engineering, or software development within a government or enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or JavaScript. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and deliver creative, scalable solutions.
