Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Optimization: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex enterprise IT systems, ensuring high performance and scalability for state agencies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce state and federal IT security standards, conducting risk assessments and audits to protect sensitive government data.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
- Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT projects, from feasibility studies to deployment, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or a large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and enterprise-grade database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Certifications: ITIL Foundation or higher certification is strongly desired.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
